It is always heart-warming to see people giving love another try. This was the case for Ross and Diane since this wedding was not the first for either one of them.
It was very important for them to celebrate their union with their parents, siblings, family, friends and colleagues. We also appreciate that see value in professional photography. They were a referral from one of our wedding couples we shot last summer and they had liked what they saw.
Our first meeting with Ross and Diane was at the Pyramid Brewery, right across from Safeco Field - quite appropriate since as it turns out, Ross is a big Mariners fan.
Their wedding and reception was held at the spacious Mercer Island Community Center on an absolutely beautiful day in March - a rare treat this time of year in the Northwest. The wedding and reception went without a hitch and included a string quartet who played classical pieces as well as one of their favorite Beatles songs "Here Comes the Sun". Ross's brother did a great job as MC and some of the toasts were more like "roasts" and had us all cracking up.
We always feel so blessed to be a part of capturing one of the happiest days of people's lives and to meet their families and friends.
